We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee production planning, scheduling, and day-to-day operations, ensuring sales, inventory, and quality targets are met while managing costs, resources, and staff development.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct production planning and scheduling based on sales volume, mix, inventory, and materials availability.
  • Plan daily operations, assign manpower, authorize overtime, and control costs while maintaining delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with production, supply, sales, engineering, and customer service to meet production standards and goals.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to achieve business unit strategic objectives.
  • Perform capacity planning for equipment, floor space, and manpower based on forecasted workload.
  • Lead and develop team approaches to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track and report performance metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage capital expenditures relative to budget.
  • Manage staff through hiring, training, performance reviews, coaching, and employee relations.
  • Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and goal-setting as part of the business unit management team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing or production, measurable by direct reports and operational outcomes.
  • 5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with documented work examples.
  • Proven planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, measurable through project completion, team performance, or prior evaluations.
  • Project management experience, measurable by successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow company instructions, processes, and compliance regulations, demonstrated in previous roles.
  • Must be available for after-hours on-call duties as required.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with CF34 or CFM56 engines preferred.
  • College diploma in engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.
