Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sr Manager Finance TH C&US Property, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for assisting in all financial routines including month end closing and reporting processes, in addition to any ad hoc reporting and financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have a finance/accounting or quantitative background and the ability to interpret key financial information. The candidate should be a hands-on team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. They must have the ability to understand finance & accounting concepts and be able to convey information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly close process for TH C&US Property Portfolio – performing journal entries, reconciliations and reporting
  • Perform monthly analysis by providing commentary and insights on the results to be share with business leaders and leadership team
  • Assist in the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process, including interacting with cross-functional teams and leaders to drive strategic and accurate results
  • Perform monthly review of rent income and rent expenses ensuring that payments align to contract rates
  • Maintain accurate and updated reporting of rent rates and margins at a site level
  • Provide financial inputs for franchisee agreement renewals
  • Work and build strong relationships cross-functionally with franchise team, real estate team, field team & development team
  • Work with Corporate Accounting and Shared Services team to ensure that results are consistent with U.S. GAAP requirements
  • Maintain accurate reporting of property-controlled sites, and produce quarterly reporting as required and submitted to SEC
  • Drive automation by identifying processes and routines that are good candidates for automation
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of finance or accounting experience
  • High degree of comfort with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; SAP, and OneStream experience an asset
  • Strong organizational skills required to meet tight reporting deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or other quantitative field

Base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 CAD. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, based on individual and company performance metrics.
