Role Description

As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), you will provide professional, client-focused massage therapy treatments that promote health, wellness, pain relief, and recovery. You will assess clients' needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive client assessments, including health history reviews and physical evaluations. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and clinical findings. Provide a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including deep tissue, relaxation, sports, prenatal, and rehabilitative massage as appropriate. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Educate clients on self-care strategies, stretching, posture, and injury prevention. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care. Ensure treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies are maintained in accordance with health, safety, and infection control standards. Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication and customer service. Maintain active registration and comply with all regulatory and professional standards.

Qualifications

Registered and in good standing with CMTO Valid professional liability insurance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical reasoning abilities. Commitment to continuing education and evidence-based practice. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills

Experience treating orthopedic, sports injury, prenatal, or chronic pain conditions. Knowledge of rehabilitation exercises and client education techniques. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
