Job Summary

The Team HealthLink BC (HLBC) bridges the gap before, between, and after in-person community services to best support the patient in the optimization of their health; and health care providers in their aim to achieve the highest clinical outcome for their patients. This organization is designed to support the citizens of British Columbia and the Yukon, both unattached and attached, by providing access to timely health information and services within the broader, complex health system. HealthLink BC is integral to delivering digital and virtual health services across British Columbia and the Yukon, enhancing patient attachment and access to high-quality, culturally safe episodic care.

The Role The Coordinator, Workforce Planning and Scheduling is responsible for planning, forecasting and analysis, scheduling and real time resource management related to services delivered by 8-1-1 within HealthLink BC. This position ensures optimal resources are in placed in order to meet established service level standards and is key to the operations ability to meet the service delivery needs of the citizens of British Columbia.

Qualifications: Education and Experience Requirements

  • Experience in a contact centre or customer service driven environment.

  • Experience working with workforce systems, for example, Genesys, NICE WFM, Verint, Bytebloc etc.

  • Experience working with timekeeping software for example, Time & Leave, WorkBrain, Peoplesoft.

  • Experience with stakeholder engagement/relationship management.

  • Intermediate level experience using Microsoft programs.

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in any of the following

  • Experience working within a collective agreement environment.

  • Experience scheduling a 24/7 environment.

  • Experience in master rotation management.

  • Or applicants who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis or Inuit).

About this Position: This is a temporary opportunity until March 1, 2028. This position may be extended or become permanent.
These positions can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
