We are looking for a Media Planning Supervisor to join our Toronto office.
responsibilities:
- Produce integrated media plans across all channels (traditional & digital) using planning tools to gather insights, and working with vendors and buying platforms to cost tactics and design them to deliver on KPIs
- Develop and present strategic direction for client campaigns.
- Seek to craft award winning work through innovation and experimentation
- Maintain analytical perspective, building out KPI and measurement frameworks
- Deliver excellence in project management - developing detailed workback schedules, leading client status updates & calls, thinking five steps ahead, involving the right people, and keeping everybody (including clients) on track.
- Quality control; monitor and work closely with direct/indirect reports to ensure all deliverables are met effectively (campaign and general administration)
- Champion best-in-class training and development for yourself and 1-2 direct/indirect reports
- Input in developing and communicating the agency team’s POV on opportunities, trends, and issues to multiple stakeholders at various levels of business
- Collaborating and coordinating with creative agencies, forming relationships that allow for effective, integrated campaigns.
- Build and foster strong client relationships
- Manage overall client budgets with exacting precision
qualifications :
- 4+ years’ experience with media planning/buying in an agency environment
- Familiarity and knowledge across all media channels (360 planner), including a thorough understanding of how to acquire, evaluate, and question media information & proposals
- Client management experience and superior communication skills (written & verbal)
- Excellent project management and high attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of evaluating and contributing to Budget Control Reports and other budget management mechanisms.
- Fluent in all syndicated media tools
- Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
- Proactive thinker, anticipating needs and potential challenges and opportunities
- Driven by a curiosity of leveraging AI tools to advance our clients work and objectives.
