Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Social Media Coordinator to oversee the company’s social media presence and support corporate brand-building initiatives across multiple digital channels. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the social media team, leading content planning, coordinating publishing activities, managing content calendars, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. The successful candidate will collaborate with marketing, communications, design, and business stakeholders while leveraging analytics and market insights to drive engagement, awareness, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact and team lead for all social media activities and initiatives. Lead weekly and monthly social media planning sessions and coordinate priorities across team members. Manage and maintain the organization’s social media content calendar. Coordinate content creation, approvals, scheduling, and publishing across platforms. Mentor, coach and provide feedback to social media coordinators and content contributors to support growth and performance. Develop and execute social media content that supports company branding and business objectives and ensures all content aligns with corporate brand standards, messaging, and campaign objectives. Collaborate with marketing, communications, HR, and business stakeholders to align messaging and campaigns. Create or oversee the development of visual assets and social media creative content. Monitor social media channels, audience engagement, and community interactions. Track and analyze engagement, reach, conversions, audience growth, campaign effectiveness, and market trends. Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations. Support employer branding, corporate communications, product marketing, and B2B lead-generation initiatives.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content marketing, communications, or B2B marketing environments. Sample of professional work will be required for application to be considered Experience leading projects, coordinating team activities, or mentoring team members. Strong understanding of corporate branding, content strategy, and audience engagement. Experience developing and executing social media campaigns aligned with business objectives. Exceptional written, verbal, and editorial communication skills. Proficiency with social media management, scheduling, and analytics platforms. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to analyze performance metrics and market trends to inform strategy.

Preferred Skills

B2B marketing and communications experience. Experience leading social media teams or coordinating multiple contributors. Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools. Strong video editing, content editing, and visual storytelling capabilities. Experience with LinkedIn marketing and thought leadership campaigns. Knowledge of analytics, reporting tools, market research, and performance tracking.
