NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: FINANCE SUPPORT I
Primary Site: St. Marys
Regular Part-time
(Shifts: 4 & 8 hour days, Monday-Friday)

POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the Finance team, the Financial Support I will provide effective and efficient accounting support to the Finance Department. In this role, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for dealing with Accounts Receivable and Payroll processes.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Finance

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $26.14 to $27.80 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Secondary School Diploma
  • Successful completion of a two year Business Diploma program.

Experience:

  • Experience with the Meditech Hospital Information System.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A good understanding of general accounting elements.

Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service.
  • Able to interact with a wide variety of clients in order to meet their needs.
  • Personal skills to deal with sensitive and stressful patient information.
