What You Will Do:
In this full-time unionized position of Customer Care Representative, you will play an essential role within our Corporate Services & Stakeholder Relations. Current hours of work are work shifts scheduled between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Analyzing and responding to telephone calls, inquiries and requests from both internal and external customers and government agencies;
- Generating and dispatching appropriate service orders to field personnel;
- Creating and maintaining appropriate records of customer comments, feedback, and payment arrangements in the applicable system;
- Receiving and processing natural gas emergency call from customers and/or emergency services;
- Maintaining working relationships with Settlement, Band and Reserve administration;
- Maintaining call answer levels to comply with Alberta Utilities Commission requirements and;
- Providing after hours on call coverage.
What You Will Bring:
Required qualifications:
- Business related Certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution;
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a call center/telephone customer service environment; and
- Specific call center agent or customer service training.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Strong keyboarding skills;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills; and
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in an environment of constant pressure to meet deadlines and emergencies.
