About the role
The Wood Automotive Group is looking for a Videographer to join our team! The Videographer is responsible for taking videos of new and used vehicle inventory at all dealerships.
Camera and video equipment and video editing programs will be provided. A valid AB driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and clean abstract are required.
Required schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for special Group events.
Duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialists to create high-quality video content for vehicle inventory, advertising, social media, websites and in-store TV displays.
- Edit videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Creative Cloud software.
- Optimize content for multiple social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts).
- Ensure video shoots are scheduled efficiently to maximize production and editing time.
- Stay up-to-date with video marketing trends and emerging editing tools (AI-based enhancements, automated captions, AI voiceovers etc.)
- Travel to multiple dealership locations in Calgary and Okotoks on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to provide examples of high-quality content you have produced.
- Be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom etc.) and in all areas of video production including shooting, lighting and audio.
- Must be able to optimize video content for all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks, deliver videos on a deadline and maintain a large database of videos/photos.
- Effective verbal communication to coordinate with Digital Marketing Specialists and other staff members.
