You will have the ability to work on new features and have an active voice in our digital solutions and work within a collaborative and supportive team structure where we ‘get it done together’ and ‘own it’ on a day-to-day basis!
Position Responsibilities:
- Craft detailed and thorough test strategies for large, multi-stream programs
- Coach and help to develop associate and intermediate quality engineers to ensure consistent processes are followed and quality remains consistently high across the product suite
- Promote procedures and stay updated on the latest test software and frameworks to facilitate driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on medium- and long-term roadmaps, offering detailed insights to develop strong program delivery timelines, and assist in recognizing and addressing risks early on
- Identify QA and development process bottlenecks and design and implement solutions
- Review and translate high level scope documents as well as detailed requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback to business partners and product developers
- Build, support, and deploy automated regression and performance test scripts using Selenium, X-ray, Bruno & JMeter; Carry out manual functional and regression testing where automation is not suitable
- Analyze automation results, investigate failures; Deliver quality audit reports; Identify test benchmarks, track product quality metrics
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and advanced level of expertise in test automation
- Experience writing broad test strategies, plans and test cases
- Expertise with testing / automation technologies such as: Selenium, Cucumber, X-ray, JIRA
- Solid knowledge of different testing techniques i.e. UI testing, automated testing, behavior driven testing
- Ability to identify guidelines and where they should be implemented (ie. risk-based testing)
- Familiarity with various testing practices
- Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
- Continuously learn from both success and failure
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
- Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
- Experiments with emerging technologies and understanding how they will impact what comes next
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or technical field or equivalent practical experience

Salary range is expected to be between
$94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
