The intern in the Pharma Technical Operations team in Mississauga will engage in an eight to twelve-month contract, gaining early career exposure to vital Technical Operations at Roche. They will design new processes, develop project management skills, and leverage new technologies across various projects and rotations, including Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and more. Interns will experience agile working and must adhere to relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, fostering cross-functional collaboration.

The opportunity:

The Pharma Technical Interns have a chance to design and implement new processes; develop project management expertise, apply new technologies to drive business productivity and profitability.
Pharma Technical Interns experience agile working in various project assignments and rotations, gaining a broad perspective of the operations process.

  • Lead or participate in business initiatives, Pharma Technical projects, process improvements, and support activities by providing subject matter expertise and in new system design and ensure that established goals and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to achieve results using and building on your experience in hands-on Pharma Technical Operations project management, organizational skills, interacting with supporting specialists.
  • Provide end-user assistance within Pharma Technical Operations and contribute to feasibility assessment and proposes strategies for business processes
  • Practice self management, time management, and individual goal setting throughout the duration of project work.
  • Work with Pharma Technical mentors to further develop long-term career goals.

Who you are:

  • You are currently pursuing a Master’s in Biochemical, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Business, Operations or related disciplines
  • You have operations related internships or work experience and excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Learner level project management, including understanding of life cycle planning.
  • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and analysis, including experience in creating dashboards, reports, and visual insights to support business decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner.
  • Proven critical thinking and creativity skills; solve problems by applying technical and functional experiences.

Additional Information:

Duration: 12 months, with an approximate start date in January 2026.
Modality: Full Time (35 hours per week) Hybrid (majority of days on - site is required)
Location: Mississauga Campus.
