Job Description Preferred candidate identified Role Overview As a BI Claim Advisor II (L7), you will play a key role in supporting the Bodily Injury claims team by assisting with file management, handling time-sensitive activities, and providing backup coverage during absences. This role ensures continuity of service and helps maintain a legendary customer experience while supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities File Support & Operational Activities

  • Assist with BI claim file handling, including organizing documentation and ensuring timely updates.
  • Support claim intake and capacity requirements based on business needs.
  • Manage transfer files when team members leave, including escalated or complex cases.

Vacation Backup Coverage

  • Act as backup for out-of-office adjusters:
  • Complete regular touchpoint activities.
  • Respond to voicemail and email inquiries.
  • Handle time-sensitive tasks (e.g., coverage confirmation, payments).
  • Action total loss settlements and vehicle movement.

Customer Support

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal partners.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed claims notes and provide timely updates.

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Participate in team huddles and MS Teams chats to provide support and share updates.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and assist colleagues as needed.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Confidence in handling complex files and technical understanding of BI Claims.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of BI claims processes and provincial regulations (an asset).
  • Actively pursuing or holding CIP designation (preferred).

  • Postsecondary education is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with claims systems and processes.
