Job Title: HVAC Assembly Supervisor
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Position Summary:
The HVAC Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the assembly operations of HVAC units, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. This role involves leading, coaching, and scheduling a team of assembly technicians while maintaining efficient workflow and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily assembly operations of HVAC units.
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure production deadlines are met.
- Ensure all assembled units meet quality and safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate assembly staff performance.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA/Alberta OHS regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Monitor inventory levels of assembly materials and report requirements to management.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical production supervision.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and inspect assembly operations for extended periods.
- lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced production environment.
- Regular exposure to mechanical components, tools, and machinery.
- Shift schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

ICE Western was founded in 1991 as a custom division of ICE MFG LTD. in Winnipeg, MB, which has its roots tracing back to 1961.
ICE Western’s purpose was to take on the production of highly complex HVAC units not suited for the main plant. Now ICE Western’s state of the art industrial manufacturing facility is located on 5 acres in South Foothills Industrial Park Calgary Alberta.
