About the role

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Executive. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the acquisition of new accounts in the small to medium enterprise market. Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with various teams, including sales development and customer success, to achieve sales goals while representing the company with integrity and professionalism. Your contributions are vital for the success and growth of the organization as it seeks to redefine the cybersecurity landscape.

Accountabilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas through effective sales campaigns.
  • Identify new prospects through discovery calls, partner meetings, and personal prospecting.
  • Understand and communicate service capabilities and benefits to position effectively.
  • Utilize CRM tools for efficiency and accurate business information delivery.
  • Manage multiple sales cycles and customer priorities effectively.
  • Master competitive offerings to focus on customer needs and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with lead generation resources to expand business opportunities.
  • Build rapport with prospects and manage the sales process.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships within the ecosystem.
  • Attend events and trade shows regularly to engage prospects.
  • Coordinate with management for strategic territory planning.
  • Lead territory calls and ensure clear communication with internal resources.
  • Enhance collaboration with pre-sales engineering for customer experience.
  • Work with channel resources to ensure partner success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience in security, storage, SaaS, or related sectors.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in technology, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
  • Commitment to personal sales development and customer service.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
