👥 About The Role As a Charter Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional private jet charter experience while driving Chartright’s continued growth as Canada’s leading provider of private jet services. This client-facing role involves managing both new and existing relationships, converting trip inquiries into revenue generating flights, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end travel experience.
Your responsibilities will include quoting, trip planning, post-charter administration, and proactive client engagement. You’ll collaborate across departments and with external partners to remove barriers to success and elevate the customer experience. A strong sales demeanor, strategic thinking, and a commitment to service excellence are essential. As you’ll be expected to generate new leads, grow existing accounts, and maintain long-term client loyalty.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Generate new business sales leads and growing existing customer accounts
- Manage the end-to-end trip planning process for clients including developing detailed private charter quotes aligned to customers’ needs and coordinating trip details with operators
- Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and customers on specific travel requirements and unique customer trip details
- Document customer details and trip plans via Chartright’s internal systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and execute service and product improvement opportunities
- Attend trade shows, conferences and other promotional networking events
🎯 What You Bring
- Post secondary education in Business or related field
- 2-3 years’ related sales experience generating new business, growing existing sales and maintaining strong customer relationships; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Demonstrated knowledge of the sales cycle, best practices and current market trends
- Positivity, energy and proactivity
- A customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach
- Solid problem-solving, judgement and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- A collaborative, professional, customer driven approach
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM/reporting/analytics tools
- Experience in the aviation industry or an aviation sales role an asset
