What you'll bring (Required)
- Proven financial modeling and management reporting experience in banking/financial services (e.g., P&L builds, margin/spread modeling, scenario analysis, sensitivity/elasticity), with a track record of influencing decisions using quantitative evidence.
- 5–7 years of experience in banking with focus on lending or advisory products, pricing, or product management; strong analytical background (risk, marketing analytics, or FP&A acceptable).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI (or comparable BI), and expert Excel; comfort with large datasets and dashboard/report automation.
- Clear, concise communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex analysis into executive‑ready messages.
Nice to have (Assets)
- Knowledge of banking treasury/portfolio management (e.g., funds transfer pricing, securitization, capital/liquidity drivers) is an asset.
- Accounting designation (CPA) or active progress/WIP is an asset; strong understanding of financial statements and accounting flows for lending/advisory products.
- Experience with pricing discretion/exception policy design and impact measurement.

The Manager, P&L (Profit & Loss) Optimization and Pricing Advise Based Product drives profitable growth by converting data into actionable pricing strategies, financial insights, and operational improvements that enhance customer outcomes and business performance. You’ll combine advanced analytics, hands‑on financial modeling and reporting, and cross functional influence to optimize spreads, margins, and risk management across our advisory product portfolio.
Financial modeling, reporting & P&L optimization
- Build and maintain robust financial models (spread/margin, risk and opportunity, scenario analysis) and recurring P&L reports to inform decisions on pricing, product mix, and capital efficiency.
- Analyze drivers of performance (e.g., various funding costs, acquisition cost, allocated expenses) and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Design and enhance reporting processes and controls that improve timeliness, accuracy, and transparency.
Pricing strategy & execution
- Develop and execute pricing strategies across advisory products and channels, aligned with business objectives and brand promise.
- Set and support posted rates, pricing discretion, and exception policies to balance growth and profitability; monitor impacts to NIM and non‑interest revenue.
- Anticipate market, regulatory, and customer shifts; recommend timely pricing tactics and portfolio actions.
Models, tools & data
- Manage and evolve pricing models and tools used for spread management and profitability analytics; define data requirements and quality standards.
- Measure and improve price elasticity understanding; evaluate trade‑offs between product attributes and demand.
Process excellence & stakeholder leadership
- Identify and streamline financial and pricing processes to enable faster, well‑controlled decisions and improved customer experience.
- Partner closely with Finance, Treasury, Product, Risk, Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Digital to design and embed sustainable pricing capabilities; act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
