About TeleTest
We are a growing telemedicine service providing accessible, patient-centered care in Ontario. We are starting to expand to other Canadian provinces, starting with BC.
Our mission is to provide test-based, guideline-driven telemedicine that finds risk early and delivers best-practice treatment through a unified, reliable online experience. Primarily, we help patients make informed decisions about their health by assisting them in obtaining medically-indicated lab testing, providing results, and subsequent education/treatment.

What You'll Do
- Conduct messaging-based consultations with patients (asynchronous and real-time as required).
- Manage common primary care presentations , including dermatology, urinary symptoms, sexual health/STI testing, women's health, and chronic condition follow-up.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications (within BC scope of practice) and arrange pharmacy delivery when needed.
- Screen for and counsel on preventive care and harm reduction (e.g., sexual health, substance use screening when relevant).
- Participate in ongoing training and case-based learning - we provide structured education and mentorship to build comfort with a wide range of common primary care complaints.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in British Columbia .
- Billing number with BC MSP .
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a primary care setting (family practice, community health, or urgent care).
- Comfortable managing a wide range of common outpatient issues suitable for virtual care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide patient-centered, empathetic care in a digital setting.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to EMRs, secure messaging platforms, and digital workflows.
Nice to Have (not required)
- Experience with STI testing, harm reduction, or addiction-related screening .
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual consult delivery.
- Interest in ongoing professional development in virtual care innovation.
