PROJECT COORDINATOR – OPEN COMPETITION
About the role
Job Purpose The Project Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and reporting on programs and activities that will assist Elders in developing and maintaining healthy lifestyles, supports social engagement, and restores the cultural roles of kehteyak in our community.
Education, Experience And Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency; post secondary education preferred in Social Services, Recreation, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with Elders and complex needs
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices is an asset.
- Experience in developing and delivering programs and activities.
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft software
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
- First Aid and CPR Certification is an asset
Working Conditions
- Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 830 – 430 (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Primary location: Elders department, with occasional travel to various sites.
- Physical fitness required (ability to walk, climb stairs, lift up to 30 lbs, etc.).
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
- Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
