Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a licensed Psychologist to join a growing trauma-focused practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across Ontario. This role offers a unique combination of clinical autonomy, scheduling flexibility, and professional growth, allowing you to focus on meaningful client outcomes while being supported by a dedicated administrative team.
In this position, you will primarily support clients through Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) assessments and trauma-focused treatment plans, while playing a key role in the growth of an expanding private-pay trauma therapy division. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to innovative treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) programs that complement on-site Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services.
What You'll Do
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, primarily focused on trauma and MVA-related cases. Develop, review, and finalize treatment plans and clinical recommendations. Provide trauma-focused therapy and ongoing client support. Deliver Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support integrated treatment programs. Complete clinical documentation, report writing, and professional correspondence. Partner with clinical leadership to support the continued growth of the trauma therapy division. Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases while maintaining a high level of clinical autonomy.
Work Environment
Enjoy the flexibility to manage your own schedule and working hours. Initial target of 30 billable hours per week during onboarding, transitioning to 35 billable hours per week after the probationary period. Hybrid work model with the ability to complete documentation and report-writing remotely. Dedicated administrative team handles scheduling, billing, and HCAI submissions, allowing you to focus on patient care.
Required Qualifications
Registered and in good standing as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO). Minimum 1 year of trauma-focused clinical experience. Strong report-writing, clinical documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in an autonomous environment while effectively managing your own schedule. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated resilience and ability to navigate complex clinical cases. Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) assessments and treatment. Exposure to or familiarity with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Experience conducting neuropsychological assessments. Experience conducting psycho-vocational or psychoeducational assessments.
