Your impact
As an Entry Level Environmental Data Management (EDM) Specialist you will be an essential contributor to Environmental Data Management & Analysis (EDMA) teams, performing EDM work on exciting and fast paced client centric projects.
Working with other members of our team, you’ll deliver complex technical solutions applying your environmental data understanding and EQuIS experience. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, the ability to balance work on multiple tasks, and an enthusiasm for learning and troubleshooting. Our Entry Level Environmental Data Management Specialists:

Learn to implement EQuIS data management solutions with the support of data management leadership and EQuIS subject matter experts.

Contribute to project data management including data tracking, data loading, and data delivery.

Learn and follow our data management best practices.

Develop the competency to work on all phases of data management in EQuIS.

Work in a dynamic team environment with data managers, scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.

Acquire the attributes of a strong consultant (team player, eagerness to learn and grow, self-starter that takes initiative, versatile, and has a client service mentality).
Here's what you'll need
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, or directly related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in environmental remediation field work
- 1+ years of data management experience using EQuIS software with knowledge of EQuIS modules including Professional, EDP, SPM, Collect, and Enterprise.
- Some experience with database or programming platforms (for example, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Visual Studio, Visual Basic for Applications, HTML, JSON, Java/JavaScript, Python, R or similar).
- Understanding of digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.
Posted Salary Range: Minimum
66,300.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
90,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $90,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across Ontario, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
