PROJECT BASED - Fort McMurray

Flights from Edmonton or Calgary to site are paid

Camp Accommodation included

Schedule:

14/14 rotation with 12 hour days - rotation may be extended

Day and Night Shifts

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Safely operate and maintain pumping systems and related equipment on remote and active job sites
  • Complete pre-use inspections and hazard assessments (FLRA) using Nektar
  • Keep detailed performance logs and site documentation
  • Fuel and maintain pump systems, monitor flow, pressure, and site conditions
  • Operate a pickup truck to move between worksites and follow all OH&S and company safety procedures
  • Communicate issues, perform regular checks, and contribute to site housekeeping
  • Support your team and jump in where needed – flexibility is key

Must-Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of pump operation experience
  • Experience in pigging is an asset!
  • Fluent English (read, write, and speak)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract (minimum 3 years of driving experience)
  • Competent to pull and reverse a truck with trailer
  • Rigging experience
  • Mechanical inclination and ability to trouble shoot pumps and pumping systems
  • Able to pass 12 panel pre-site access drug and alcohol testing (including cannabis)
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 18 kg and work in all weather conditions
  • Willing to work long 12-hour shifts, day or night, with irregular breaks
  • Required certifications:
    • Construction Safety Training System (CSTS)
    • WHMIS
    • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) - link will be provided
    • Wildlife Awareness - link will be provided
    • Site orientations - links will be provided

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work, often in wet, noisy, and cold conditions
  • Close collaboration with team members, clients, and contractors
  • On-your-feet, hands-on work with real-world impact

Pay & Perks:

  • Starting at $28.00-$35/hour (depending on experience)
  • Full-time, project-based employment
