Canfor Pulp Ltd. is currently seeking out people like you to join our roster of rock star tradespeople to assist with our annual mill maintenance outage at Intercontinental Pulp. This temporary employment will commence tentatively on June 8, 2026 and will end around June 19, 2026. If this is you, our opportunity to work at our upcoming maintenance outage inPrince George, BCmight just be your calling.

We are looking for the following lineup:

  • Pipefitters
  • Instrument Mechanics

To be part of this crew, you must be able to work both independently and in a team. When things get tricky, we’re going to need you to pull out those superior troubleshooting skills and make use of your mechanical aptitude to make the best decision possible. Your interpersonal and communication skills need to be top-notch since you will be working mainly in a group environment, you know, teamwork makes the dream work. The ability to work safely and efficiently will make you the real MVP.

In a perfect world, you have your Red Seal, paired with a solid background in heavy industry and construction. To knock it out of the park, highlight your knowledge of the pulp and paper industry and previous shutdown/maintenance outage experience.

Living out allowance is available for successful out-of-town trades candidates hired for our shutdown, and your hourly rate is $48.66.
