We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Change Enablement Data & Insights Student to help shape how the People & Culture division measures, understands and communicates change. This role focuses on leveraging data to create consistent, insightful, and actionable reporting on HR’s portfolio of projects and initiatives. The student will establish a regular reporting cadence, building dashboards, and translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations that support leadership decision making. The ideal candidate is an MBA or Master’s student with a strong analytical mindset, advanced JIRA and Excel skills, and the ability to turn complex data into clear and compelling business stories.

Your Role In The Game Data Analysis and Dashboard Development

  • Manage and extract data from JIRA to track HR division’s projects and programs initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that visualize project progress, workload and operational trends.
  • Design mechanisms to track and highlight upcoming initiatives, milestones, and dependencies across HR portfolios.

Reporting and Insight Generation

  • Establish a monthly reporting cadence summarizing key HR initiatives and performance indicators.
  • Analyze JIRA data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities – providing insightful recommendations to improve delivery and prioritization.
  • Translate technical data into clear, senior leaders’ ready narratives that inform planning and resource decisions.

Data Storytelling and Recommendations

  • Create presentations and visuals that connect data to business context, helping leaders understand ‘what’s happening’ and ‘why it matters’.
  • Work closely with the Change Enablement team to integrate insights into broader change narratives across the HR function.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and project success.

Exploration and Innovation

  • Explore opportunities to leverage OLG approved AI or automation tools to enhance dashboarding, reporting, or change enablement analytics.
  • Recommend continuous improvements to data accuracy, reporting methods, and visualization techniques.

What You Need To Play Education

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA or Master’s program (preferred fields: Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Business Administration)

Skills & Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in JIRA preferred (data extraction, dashboard configuration, filters, and reporting).
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a clear story through data.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau is an asset
  • Interest in change management, organizational effectiveness and HR transformation
