How you’ll make a difference:
We are seeking an Audiologist to provide expert opinion on occupational hearing loss and tinnitus claims to support our hearing loss team.
Your Audiology Consultant responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret diagnostic audiology tests to form diagnoses, provide opinions and provide recommendations.
- Clearly present and/or explain technical information/results, verbally and in writing, to individuals and groups, with varying levels of knowledge.
- Provide advice and feedback to members of the hearing loss team and service providers on a variety of technical and procedural matters.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Hearing Loss Team.
- Foster a positive working environment with external service providers focused on fairness and evidence-based decision making.
Your experience and skills:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Audiology.
- Registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
- Five years of related experience.
- Specialist knowledge of auditory physiology and pathology and their implications for communication.
- Specialist knowledge of audiology diagnostic test battery in adults.
- Knowledge of current hearing-aid technology, fitting protocols, and verification measures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team setting.
Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.

This hybrid position includes remote work performed within Alberta with infrequent on-site work at the nearest WCB office (Edmonton or Calgary).
