Job Description: The Specialist Vendor Maintenance will interact with both suppliers and internal business partners by responding to procurement related questions and providing guidance on the procurement process. Activities include support of supplier onboarding into SAP Ariba, addressing inquiries into payment status, and handling escalations. This is a procurement generalist role focused on the Quebec market. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in French is a requirement. What you will do: Address procurement-related inquiries and support escalations from both suppliers and internal business partners Provide guidance on procurement process Initiate, gather, collect and track vendor response in vendor onboarding and/or enablement process in SAP Ariba SLP and SAP Ariba Network; follow up as needed Summarize notes from calls and emails to document the supplier’s position Prepare summary and detailed reports on outcomes; follow up as appropriate and track outcomes Ensure vendors comply with onboarding requirements to complete Ariba registration and enablement Coordinate meetings with vendors as needed Coordinate meetings with internal teams as needed and support the conversation Support supplier enablement, influence vendors to begin transacting with a client through the Ariba network, support reporting on registration and enablement status Investigate and communicate Purchase Order and payment status, Troubleshoot invoice issues with business and Accounts Payable teams to ensure invoices are paid on time What you will need to succeed: 2 - 5 years of experience in supplier onboarding and enablement program in SAP Ariba SLP and Network. Experience in procurement domain/concepts preferred. Technical knowledge of Ariba vendor enablement and SLP preferred. Knowledge of registering and enabling vendors in SAP Ariba preferred. Clear, concise, and influential verbal and written communication skills are required with the ability to represent a client to its supplier partners. University or college degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Operations, or a related field. Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking supplier, colleagues, and internal partners across Canada and worldwide. Possess great communication skills and exercise business acumen when speaking both internally and externally. Ability to maintain a tracking system for vendor registration and vendor enablement (e.g., strong MS Excel or MS Planner for daily uses). Ability to problem-solve and think quickly.
