Job Description: The Accounts Receivable Accountant is accountable for providing the leadership, direction and coordination necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the patient and non-patient Accounts Receivable processes. As well, the accountant is responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial information by performing critical general ledger reconciliations and audits of accounts receivable documents. The incumbent creates and sustains a workplace environment that fosters respect, builds trust, open communication and promotion of learning and growth.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education:

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
  • Chartered Professional Accountant or equivalent, or a suitable combination of education and experience

  • Advanced computer skills

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to lead change and innovation
