About the role
Our staffing agency is recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an experiencedBusiness Development Managerto drive growth across various industries, includingTech, Marketing, Professional Services, and more. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities, and closing deals that support long‑term business objectives.
###Responsibilities
-Develop and executebusiness development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts. -Identify and qualifynew business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach. -Build and maintainstrong relationships with key decision‑makers across multiple industries (Tech, Marketing, etc.). -Prepare and delivercompelling presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client needs. -Negotiate and closecontracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long‑term partnerships. -Collaborate with internal teams(sales, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. -Track and reporton pipeline, performance metrics, and market trends to inform strategy. -Represent the companyat industry events, conferences, and meetings as needed.
Requirements
-Experience:Minimum5+ yearsof experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related client‑facing role. -Industry exposure:Experience working with clients acrossvarious industries (Tech, Marketing, Professional Services, etc.). -Proven track recordof meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets. -Excellent communication and negotiationskills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. -Strong analytical and strategic thinkingabilities. -Ability to manage multiple opportunitiessimultaneously and prioritize effectively. -Familiarity with CRM toolsand structured sales processes.
###Preferred
- Experience inB2B environmentswith complex sales cycles.
- Existing network of contacts in Tech, Marketing, or related sectors.
- Background in working with or within staffing, consulting, or agency environments.
