About the role
Role Overview Our client is one of the largest Sage resellers in the region and a rapidly growing ERP firm with one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the industry. With significant growth in their construction vertical, they are seeking a high-performance Construction Software Sales Representative to strengthen their sales team and drive predictable, high-quality results.
This role requires an individual with strong business acumen, a deep understanding of construction industry workflows, and ideally hands-on experience with Sage Construction or Sage Intacct Construction solutions. You must be highly disciplined, process-driven, and effective in managing inbound leads through a structured sales cycle using CRM best practices. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, strong demo capabilities, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships that contribute to the company's long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities Manage and convert inbound qualified leads using the company's standardized sales and discovery processes Run thorough discovery sessions and complete all required documentation to support accurate project scoping Maintain a clean, accurate CRM pipeline with reliable forecasting and activity tracking Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for deals, revenue, and conversion metrics Deliver high-quality, tailored software demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of Sage Intacct Construction to Controllers, CFOs, Project Managers, and construction business owners Build and nurture relationships across the company's construction customer base Manage software renewals and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities Work closely with Sales Executives, Project Managers, and Consultants to ensure clean handoffs and accurate project scope Follow all internal sales processes, documentation standards, and CRM usage requirements Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, conferences, and webinars Support marketing initiatives through content, outreach, and construction customer insights
Required Qualifications Must-Have Proven track record in B2B technology, ERP, or construction software sales Strong understanding of construction workflows (job cost, financials, project operations) High proficiency with CRM tools (Sage CRM, Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent) Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding quotas Strong organizational skills and disciplined time management Excellent communication and presentation skills, including expert-level software demo capability
Highly Desired Experience with Sage 100 Contractor or Sage Intacct Construction Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field Understanding of how ERP systems improve construction operational efficiency
