About the role

We’re looking for a Programs Manager to join our client’s retail marketing team on a 12-month leave contract. This role is perfect for someone with agency-style account management and production management experience who knows how to manage photo shoots, creative production schedules, and multiple stakeholders with strong personalities .

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the account/production lead on omni-channel marketing projects (digital, print, photo, in-store).
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, and timelines for campaigns, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Coordinate photo shoots – liaise with photographers, agencies, art directors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and nurture relationships across internal teams (promo, merchandising, strategic marketing).
  • Travel to production sets to oversee execution.
  • Use Wrike for project tracking and status management.
  • Handle day-to-day stakeholder communication with agencies, vendors, and internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years in account or production management (agency or client-side).
  • Hands-on photo production experience – comfortable with set terminology, photography lingo, and working with creatives.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (working knowledge – not design-level, but fluent enough to review assets).
  • Strong communicator with client-facing presentation skills and confidence managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience juggling multiple projects in fast-paced, personality-driven environments.
  • Bonus: retail marketing or omni-channel campaign experience.

What This Role Is Not

  • It’s not a creative strategy role — you won’t be concepting or designing.
  • It’s not pure project coordination — you’ll need to lead accounts, vendors, and production.
  • It’s not senior director-level — we’re targeting someone mid-level (4–6 years of experience).

Work setup: Hybrid – 2 days/week downtown Toronto, moving to 4 days/week later this year.
