About the role
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing company in Abbotsford, is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, coordinating multiple priorities, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As the central point of communication between customers and internal departments, you'll help ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time while providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order processing. Coordinate customer orders from entry through production and final delivery. Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics, and accounting to ensure timely order fulfillment. Prepare quotations, sales documentation, and customer correspondence. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication. Support the outside sales team with customer requests and administrative activities. Coordinate inventory availability and transportation logistics. Resolve customer concerns while identifying opportunities to improve processes and service. Maintain accurate customer records within ERP and CRM systems. Assist with reporting and provide administrative support as required.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Customer Service, Inside Sales, or a similar role. Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience working with ERP and/or CRM software. Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or a related industry. Experience with Great Plains ERP or similar business systems. Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
