We’re looking for a Revenue Accountant to cover an 18-month maternity leave. The Revenue Accountant will assist with process rental billing for multiple commercial property tenants! This role handles a variety of revenue accounting functions, including lease analysis, revenue analysis, and tenant accounts receivable reviews.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor, unit, lease and detailed square footage inventory on automated property management systems (Yardi-Voyager)
• Detailed review of new lease and lease renewal information and entry of information into property management systems
• Review property rent roll to process monthly rental billings to tenants
• Process tenant miscellaneous billings and rental adjustments as required
• Maintain retail tenants’ percentage rent information monthly
• Other duties as assigned including preparation of variance reports

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience ideally in real estate property accounting
• Post-secondary college degree in accounting program.
• Current enrolment in a professional accounting program (CPA) is nice to have
• This position requires property accounting/administration experience
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and property management accounting systems
• The incumbent must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment

The base salary for this position is between $50,100 - $75,100 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
