Buffalo Trail Public Schools is seeking a temporary mail courier (van driver) to deliver mail throughout the division. Reporting to the Secretary-Treasurer, the courier will be responsible for the delivery, collection and sorting of mail for all 27 locations within the division.
Position Details:
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Tentative End Date: October 31, 2025, or the return of the incumbent
- Location: Central Services
- Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 7 hours per day
- Contract Type: Temporary, Part- time
- A division vehicle will be provided
Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- A safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver's abstract required)
- The physical ability to lift 22.7 kg (50lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb)
- The ability to work in all types of weather
