You will lead Mahan’s project team and take overall responsibility for our schedule, resources, costs, contractual obligations, and relationship with the general contractor. You must be able to step into an active project, identify why performance is falling behind, develop a practical recovery plan, and make sure it gets implemented.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Overall delivery of Mahan’s concrete-forming scope, including schedule, productivity, cost, quality, and contractual performance
  • Turning the GC’s master schedule into an achievable floor-cycle and production plan
  • Leading and holding Mahan’s foreman, coordinators, suppliers, and project staff accountable
  • Ensuring manpower, materials, formwork, rebar, equipment, cranes, pumps, drawings, and engineering are ready when required
  • Monitoring production, identifying the cause of missed targets, and implementing corrective action
  • Coordinating directly with the GC’s project manager and superintendent, consultants, engineers, suppliers, and other trades
  • Managing budgets, cost forecasting, progress billings, change orders, delay notices, back charges, claims, and holdback releases
  • Reporting clearly to Mahan’s senior management on progress, risks, costs, and required decisions

WHAT WE NEED

  • Meaningful experience managing high-rise cast-in-place concrete construction
  • Experience as a project manager, senior coordinator, construction manager, or superintendent ready to move into a management role
  • Strong knowledge of forming and shoring systems, floor-cycle planning, reshoring, rebar sequencing, and concrete operations
  • The ability to read structural and shop drawings and resolve issues before they affect production
  • Experience recovering delayed work and holding site teams accountable to an agreed plan
  • Strong commercial judgment and an understanding of project documentation, billing, notices, change orders, and cost control This is a specialized structural concrete role. Experience limited to low-rise residential, ICI fit-outs, or general project management will not be sufficient.
