Westwood Talents is hiring History / Humanities Specialists for an hourly, remote contract project focused on analytical and interpretive writing.
This work spans disciplines such as history, philosophy, and cultural studies and involves synthesizing complex arguments, analyzing change over time, and connecting events to broader social dynamics to support advanced AI training.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze humanities texts for interpretive depth and argumentative structure
- Synthesize themes across time periods, movements, and cultural contexts
- Interpret primary sources and connect them to broader historical/philosophical arguments
- Evaluate causal reasoning related to reform, identity, and power dynamics
- Produce concise, well-structured written explanations grounded in source material
Ideal Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in History, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, or a related field
- Experience in academic writing, source interpretation, or historical analysis
- Ability to connect abstract concepts with concrete historical examples
- Excellent writing, reasoning, and analytical skills
Opportunity Details
- Expected commitment: ~10–20 hours/week
