East Coast Credit Union is looking for a Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager is responsible for the development, promotion and execution of project management to ensure timely, valuable delivery across the organization. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders at all seniority levels, the incumbent supports delivery of the project roadmap, utilizing performance metrics and evolving practices through continuous enhancement.

You would…
- Manage the planning, initiation, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with change management principles and consulting with the change management committee when required.
- Provide advice and guidance to partners on defining project goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, resources, roles, and responsibilities, as well as work breakdown structures, milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitate identification of partner expectations and ensures effective communication strategies are in place.
- Audit projects to ensure proper methodologies are followed and identifies areas for improvement in future initiatives.
- Provide recommendations and input on process adoption, improvement, partner engagement, and communication.
- Act as a support to the Business Analyst, facilitating business case development with Idea Sponsors & Subject Matter Experts as part of the project intake process.
- Apply data and insights to inform leadership decisions on performance, productivity, risk, capacity, cost, quality, and ROI.
- Manage the corporate project repository, ensuring accurate documentation for current and past projects and promoting useful reference materials.
- Develop and delivers group and individual training on project management methodology and best practices.
- Build strong partnerships with external partners, system partners, and service providers while fostering collaboration across internal departments and cross-functional teams.
- Support and volunteers in community initiatives, representing the Credit Union at events, system conferences, and meetings.
You have…
- Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in project management, ideally within a structured Project Management Office.
You are…
- Knowledgeable and experienced in change leadership.
- Well-versed in policies and the regulatory environment.
- Knowledgeable of financial principles.
