How You Contribute To Our World

Reporting to the Superintendent - Concentrator, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the development, acquisition, and maintenance of the department’s employees’ skills. Your main responsibilities will include:

Analyzing the development and training needs of the concentrator sectors. Designing, developing, and presenting training and development plans, taking into account human, financial, legal, organizational, and pedagogical aspects. Deliver training and supervise internal and external trainers, while monitoring the cost-effectiveness of various services. Evaluate participants’ training outcomes, recommend promotions, and establish processes for transferring acquired skills. Maintain the training data tracking system (ISOVISION) and provide training on its use for the department. Ensure that legal and operational training materials and procedure manuals are up to date for the department’s employees.

Profile Required

Hold a college diploma (DEC) in metallurgy, ore processing, or any other related field, combined with five (5) years of experience in an industrial setting as a trainer. Any other training deemed relevant may be considered. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SIMS, and SAP. Working knowledge of English is an asset.
