Position Title: Auto Parts Store Order Picker/Stock Associate
Location: Hamilton, Ontario
Type of Employment: Part-time fixed-term contract with possibility of transitioning to full-time permanent or part-time permanent
Compensation: Minimum wage and comprehensive group benefits
Hours
- Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Additional hours (including Saturdays) may be required or available as needed

Position Summary
As the Order Picker/Stock Associate, the individual will be required to efficiently check, pick, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store. The individual will be required to reliably deliver auto parts to our valued customers. They will be required to answer internal and external telephone calls and complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Effective use of resources, such as the company database and parts catalogue will be required.

Key Responsibilities
- Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
- Help control inventory and ensure product availability
- Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
- Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
- Efficiently and correctly complete deliveries being mindful of customer preferences
- Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize and mop)
- When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
- When required, coordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
Key Requirements
- A valid G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year driver’s abstract required
- Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control and stock maintenance experience an asset
- Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
- Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) safely and consistently
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, twist, lift and bend on a regular basis
