Note: This is a full-time position (35 hours/week) at the Atlantic Women's Centre in St. John's, NL. Directly reporting to the Centre Director; pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.
COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older. We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction. We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibility of the Spiritual Formation Coach is to give clients a Biblical foundation to foster an enriching spiritual life. The incumbent is responsible for the supervision of the Spiritual Formation of the clients in the Teen Challenge drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Responsibilities include performing diversified duties such as: providing scriptural training to Clients, delivering the Teen Challenge curriculum, coordinating guest speakers, teaching classes, scheduling chapel, and mentoring clients on their journey of faith.

About Teen Challenge Canada Inc.
Teen Challenge Canada has been serving men and women experiencing addiction, through our 12-month faith-based program, for over 50 years. What started as a coffee house outreach in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, has grown to nine drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation centres across five provinces.
Through Teen Challenge Canada's yearlong, in-residence, drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, men and women 18 years and older in addiction, are given the time they need to heal. The program offers comprehensive training that helps equip individuals with the tools to maintain their sobriety and return to their families and friends substance-free.
Teen Challenge Canada is one of four Teen Challenge organizations within Canada and part of a network of over 1400 Teen Challenge centres worldwide.
