About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time 1-year contract Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) working out of our Queen Street office. As an integral member of a dynamic team, you will provide evidence-based interventions as outlined in a child/youth's Ontario Autism Program Behaviour Plan.
What You Bring
Required
- A Diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science, degree in Psychology or Behavioural Sciences Program, or a diploma in other social services accompanied by extensive experience with ASD and Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience in the teaching and implementation of behavioural analytic strategies.
- Possess strong communication, collaboration and independent skills.
- A valid Class G driver’s license and personal transportation are required.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required.
- Two years or more of Supervised Instructor Therapist experience
- Willing to work flexible hours and to travel across the District of Algoma.
Assets
The ability to communicate in both official languages in an asset.
