If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst- International to join our team located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities Your Role: The Senior Financial Analyst- International is responsible for providing accurate and data-based information on the International Finance team’s profitability and budgeting. This role will research and analyze financial information including costing, listing fees, tariffs, freight and distributor fees to assist and make recommendations on proposed product launches across the globe, as well as sourcing efficiencies from manufacturers. This role will work with the Sales and Marketing teams on planning, forecasting and making sound financial decisions for the business.   • Prepare full P&Ls for RCP, distributors, and Retailers for proposed products/SKUs to launch in various markets. Make recommendations on mix assortment and where best to launch.
  • Analyze current and future operations to identify cost improvements. This includes reviewing cost trends across manufacturing partners for all product categories and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs among co-manufacturers.
  • Manage Marketing & Sales budgets which includes A&P, Trade Spend, and retailer listing fees. Provide detailed analysis and reconciliation of Trade Spend on an on-going basis.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated plans/forecasts with Marketing and Sales through analysis and recommendations on the most beneficial short-term and long-term sustainable profitable growth initiatives
  • Provide recommendations for pricing strategies across all markets
  • Track, report and present financials on pipeline of innovations that are in AOP and opportunistic initiatives.
  • Develop, manage and maintain financial database for always changing inputs across various markets.
  • Complete ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as required for senior management.
  • Advise management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
  • Interpret budgets to management.

Qualifications We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of related professional Accounting or Finance experience.

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • CPA certification.
