Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Act as technical consultant in a particular field of expertise. Supervise other chemists. Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds. Conduct programs to identify and quantify environmental toxicants. Conduct research on new products used in nanomedicine and nanoelectronics. Develop and conduct programs of analysis to ensure quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates or final products. Participate in interdisciplinary research and development projects. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
