Seasonal Forklift Operator /Truck Loader

Job Description: The Forklift Operator /Truck Loader is responsible for transporting all finished goods from the assembly line to the warehouse. We are in the process of hiring 2 positions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Transports packaged ice from the bagging room and stacks ice in the warehouse after bundling it into pallets.
  • Audits inventory to ensure accurate loading/unloading of stock shipped and received.
  • Support dispatch duties during high volume season.
  • Contribute to process improvements, procedures, and policies.
  • Cleans maintenance area to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
  • Displays and supports safe dock practices and implements them in conjunction with drivers.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

Salary: $21/hour - 22.60/hour DOE

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma and3+ years forklift experience required.
  • Must hold and maintain Fork Lift certification/license. -1-2 years with bulk pallet handling (on the forklift) experience in a warehouse environment highly preferred.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs repeatedly. -Must be able to work in a cold environment, previous cold room experience highly desirable.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
