Join us in Saskatoon as a Supply Chain Supervisor , where you will lead and facilitate the scheduling of plant production to maximize resource utilization and meet established production specifications and schedules; including volume, cost, waste, and quality targets. You will lead a team of five—including Warehouse Operators, a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, and a Logistics Coordinator—working closely together to secure seamless distribution performance across warehouses, 3PL partners, customers, and directly contribute to Novonesis’ purpose of enabling better business and biological solutions.
The Role & Your Impact In this role, you will have a mix of operational and tactical responsibilities with strong cross‑functional collaboration.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Overseeing all warehouse operations to meet on-time delivery commitments.
- Owning inventory management, ensuring cycle‑count accuracy, and supporting annual financial audits.
- Partnering with 3PL providers to maintain smooth, compliant, and cost‑effective goods movements.
- Executing full managerial responsibilities, including safety compliance, directing work, performance management, recognition, discipline, and conflict resolution.
- Developing team capabilities through ladder progression, clear work instructions, and training programs.
- Managing BioAg distribution with strong service and cost performance.
- Driving slow‑moving inventory actions, scrap management, and intercompany PO tracking.
- Monitoring and improving KPIs, such as shipped‑on‑time performance and customer complaint trends.
- Procuring raw materials and packaging to support timely production and availability.
- Optimizing inbound and outbound inventory to maximize warehouse utilization while controlling costs.
- Providing SAP training and supporting system troubleshooting, upgrades, and improved usage.
Must-haves What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- BS/BA in Business, Logistics, or Science; or 5+ years of planning or production‑related experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.
- Warehousing experience in a leadership role
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills with all business functions.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication across all organizational levels.
- Ability to influence without authority and maintain strong partnerships while driving results.
- Strong decision-making under time and information constraints.
- Continuous improvement mindset; challenges existing processes to enhance efficiency.
- High initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate independently.
- Solid judgment and problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected base salary: CAD $80,000–$100,000, aligned with internal equity and market data.
