About the role

This role supports our mission to ensure no one is left behind by providing direct administrative support to the Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships teams. In this role you will support key account development, and activities related to customer identification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship. You will be responsible for coordinating the production of personalized customer materials, tracking customer activity and results, and implementing best practices for donor-centric activities. This position reports directly to the Director, Individual Giving and provides support to the Director, Corporate Partnerships.

About the role:

  • Delivers accurate signing in of revenue for grants, family funds, endowments, corporate donations, and sponsorship; processes invoices and securities donations and coordinates all relevant follow-ups.
  • Coordinates Cabinet meetings and internal team meetings and provides meeting support such as minute taking and agenda distribution.
  • Compiles data needs including submitting requests, ensuring accuracy of data and supporting the team members’ utilization of the data.
  • Supports ‘Thank You’ letters, recognition and stewardship materials at identified levels for all types of donations and gifts.
  • Coordinates the production and personalization of all welcome packages for new members of the Red Feather Society.
  • Supports donor stewardship events in coordination with teammates, tracking registration, supporting check-in and event logistics, coordinating follow-up data tracking.
  • Coordinates the preparation of Donor lists for the Honour Roll.
  • Coordinates the execution of two Corporate Direct mailouts per year.
  • Supports in creating Corporate and Individual Donor Impact Reports for both teams at all levels and gift sizes.
  • Provides other administrative support to the Individual Giving & Corporate Partnerships teams including maintaining planner boards, preparing correspondence, developing reports, and maintaining files and records.
  • Maintains, updates, and optimizes account records in the CRM.
  • Supports the resourcing and creation of customized materials required for prospect cultivation, solicitation, and the creation of stewardship resources including customized impact reports.
  • Researches and compiles customer and prospect information to ensure team members are prepared for customer meetings, interactions and building the donor pipeline.

About you:

You have an interest in making a difference in our community and thrives in administrative and support roles and are eager to apply your exceptional customer service and administrative expertise to this role. You have basic database skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. You enjoy working in new and creative spaces and see ambiguity as an opportunity. You are highly organized with the ability to plan, set priorities and create action plans to complete work.

You have a can-do attitude, are outcomes driven, and approach situations with a positive mindset, empathy, and collaboration. Thinking creatively, finding solutions, developing innovative ideas, and building relationships is how you thrive. You love operating in a digital environment and are proficient with MS Office (we use Office 365 - MS Teams, SharePoint), and enjoy learning and using new technology.

You have a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business Administration or related field and a minimum of a minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience. We welcome applicants with any combination of education and lived experience. A vehicle is an asset as some travel will be involved within Edmonton and the surrounding area. A valid driver’s license is required.
