About The Role As a DevSecOps Manager , you'll directly manage Plooto's DevOps, Security, and IT team. Your focus is on execution excellence : ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and efficient while coaching your team to deliver results. You'll balance being a hands-on contributor when needed with being an effective people leader who provides clarity, feedback, and recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across DevOps, Security, and IT — setting priorities and tracking progress against goals.
- Partner with Engineering leads to translate requirements into actionable technical plans.
- Drive improvements in automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and system performance.
- Ensure infrastructure is stable, secure, and optimized for cost and scalability.
- Provide mentorship and support to ICs, building their skills and career growth.
- Track and report team OKRs and KPIs, ensuring visibility into delivery and risks.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure strong, reliable partnerships.
- Stay hands-on when appropriate — assisting in incident response, technical reviews, or automation work.
Qualifications
- ~6–8+ years of DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure experience.
- 2+ years of people management or team lead experience.
- Solid expertise with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD, monitoring, and database operations.
- Working knowledge of security practices and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to coach individuals, manage projects, and build team alignment.
- Strong communicator who can simplify technical issues for non-technical partners.
