About the role
Ontario – Remote Clinical Field Trainer – Ontario Working as a member of the Sales team, the Clinical Field Trainer for Ontario will be responsible for the training and support of our products and software as needed. The Clinical Trainer will work primarily in a face to face and virtual capacity in Ontario with occasional responsibilities in other provinces. Working closely with the Audiology team and Regional Sales Managers, the Clinical Field Trainer will support their region in achieving sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Attend sales meetings and strategy sessions as an active member of the sales team, supporting sales messaging workshops and launch coordination
- Train on all Phonak-supported products and software, including hearing aids, Roger, hearing protection, Sennheiser, pediatric hearing aids, Lyric, and future products
- Design and deliver training content for launches, seminars, in‑house training, and presenter duties at customer and end‑user events
- Conduct face-to-face clinical education, participate in open houses, provide hands‑on product demonstrations and prodcut focused training for hearing care practitioners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demonstration protocols and support materials for B2B2C and sales team use
- Support the onboarding of new team members with product and audiology training
- Patient troubleshooting in clinics as needed
Travelling Requirement: 30%-50%
More about you:
- Audiologist designation required; marketing or business degree an asset
- Additional coursework in training, marketing, or sales is a plus
- Minimum two years experience working as a clinical Audiologist
- Strong problem‑solving, exceptional planning and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and manage/prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Team‑oriented with a proactive, positive attitude; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with people.
- Technical proficiency to support colleagues with functional‑area issues; intermediate MS Office skills; familiarity Salesforce is advantageous
- Professional working proficiency in English; ability to recognize and recommend continuous process improvements and make independent judgment calls when needed
