Job Title: Senior GIS Developer (VertiGIS / ArcGIS Enterprise) Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Duration: 150 Business Days with possible extension Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $95 per hour
Role Overview
This is a Senior GIS Systems Analyst/Developer role focused on upgrading a portfolio of business-critical GIS applications from the legacy Geocortex platform to the modern VertiGIS platform. The work involves modernizing existing applications while maintaining current functionality, improving performance, enhancing accessibility, and ensuring compatibility with modern GIS technologies and enterprise standards.
Must Have
Experience using GIS software suites, ideally ArcGIS, VertiGIS/Geocortex, and/or FME.
Experience with Ontario Public Sector (OPS)
Role and responsibilities. Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a diverse range of cost-effective I&IT solutions. Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
