Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to join our Workplace Experience team for an 8-month internship. This role offers hands on experience across workplace operations and employee experience. You will work closely with our team to support day to day operations and contribute to initiatives that help shape our workplace and culture.
This is an 8-month, full-time internship starting in May 2026 through December 2026

Responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly, responsive service with a solutions‑focused and customer‑first mindset
- Support day‑to‑day workplace operations and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
- Assist with facilities and office operations across multiple office floors
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers to support smooth operations
- Support workplace initiatives and technology platforms; act as a superuser‑in‑training
- Assist with the delivery of local corporate security services
- Support the Corporate Security program by helping implement standardized procedures and processes across AIMCo offices
- Assist with health & safety compliance and workplace standards
- Provide reception coverage and front‑of‑house support as required
- Support daily office needs, including shipping and deliveries, mail sorting, and answering incoming calls
- Support workplace experience initiatives, office events, and employee engagement activities
- Act as a point of contact for employee feedback related to the workplace experience
Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a post‑secondary program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
