About the role
The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Temporary Math/Science Teacher at Grimshaw Public School . This position will commence on January 30, 2026 . The initial assignment will include Science 9, Science 14/24, and Math 20-2.

Grimshaw Public School is an exciting and dynamic school located in the town of Grimshaw, 20 kms west of Peace River. The school serves students from grades K-12. Qualifications
- Training and/or successful teaching experience at the elementary level
- Ability to differentiate instruction.
- A demonstrated commitment to student achievement.
- Effective classroom management.
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Ability to coach team sport at a high school level.
Requirements
- Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of application.

Annual Salary Range: $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
