Coordinate and facilitate annual emergency preparedness exercises, including fire evacuation drills and emergency response planning. Lead Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings (or Worker Health and Safety Representative meetings where applicable), maintain meeting records, and oversee completion of corrective actions. Develop, review, and maintain workplace hazard assessments, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). Partner with Corporate EHS, Operations, Human Resources, and branch leadership to ensure health, safety, and environmental programs are effectively implemented and continuously improved. Monitor safety performance metrics, identify trends, and establish annual safety objectives for assigned locations. Support environmental compliance initiatives, including spill prevention, waste management, hazardous materials management, and environmental incident reporting where applicable. Assist with contractor safety management and ensure subcontractors comply with company and regulatory safety requirements.
